which is the noblest among them all....

What is the noblest profession among them all,…..????? the question hit to me,at the commencement of my dental treatment.

I reached the clinic on time and was told to wait in lobby.  Hitherto, I was swinging with trepidation, but as I was evoked in his cabin, Mr. dentist  was on his mission to make me comfortable with his tongue-in-cheek remarks.
He is an immaculate and martinet personality, which eventually confirms his rectitude, too.
First he asked , whether I had had my breakfast? . Then he started admiring the beauty of my wisdom tooth and framed few sentences,as if he were to write a commemoration for it . He compared it with the grace and glory of Ravana, although an eminent scholar ,was killed by lord Rama as dared to crossed  maryada, so  how savant and beautiful one could be does not matter, if crosses the limits, even god won’t come to save, the same was destined with my ex-wisdom tooth. He convinced me that -since,it dared to grow above the gentle nerves beneath teeth panoply, it had to sacrifice its life.
Well, he did his work well and I felt obliged to him,as I  could not realise the pain being intricated in his remarks … Infact, the completeness of his comport compelled me to start thinking, that actually,“which profession can be declared the winner….???”

The answer is quite obvious, our venerable POLITICIANS…. Hehehehehehehehehe
Ok,ok  no more baloney. (I can’t dare to lose my loyal readers, after all mere post aapke comments se hi to gulzar rehte h…)
Two more names come to my mind excluding doctors- teachers and army personnel…
Doctors are often termed as “ next to god”, because by their livelihood we hope to spend healthy lives ,I even remember one incident to ensure the aforementioned statement- “ once there was a discussion between a mechanic and a doctor, that although they both perform the same task i.e. to amend the machinery,( whether  living being  or non-living being ) then why the doc’s are  more respected, the doctor replies that a mechanic has to perform upon a dormant machinery, also non living being; whereas a doctor is expected to operate an active machinery of  living human being, hence more VENERABLE..
If I talk of teachers, they are sort of INELUCTABLE to any common man, they can be of various types and categories, but at some point, we are afraid of them, love them or respect them; rather few of them always remain in our memories, such that difficult to extricate, they are our role models and impact our thoughts as well as decisions like anything. Can we even think of giving so much attention and importance to any other professional??? I don’t think so…
Even doctors and teachers are trained by TEACHERS…
We happily spend our lives and manage everything with the true sense of freedom, because somebody else is taking care of the security and harmony of all those, living in the hub. Definitely, this feeling of obliging cannot be derived from any other profession; they sacrifice their lives to save ours. Although, this is their livelihood but the feeling of courage and determination certainly discriminates them with the rest of the society. Barring any special occasion but I feel grateful to them unconditionally and definitely have no question about their rectitude……
Now one may ask, did I reach upon any conclusion, the answer is no….actually I have evinced all this to ensure that let it remain a question only as all three professions are altogether NOBLEST….

Although Engineer's day is close (15 September), I really wish if they could ever be included in this category............. and so,how could I?
well, I would try to contribute by some other way..... may be, not as pious as above, but at least germane enough......

  1. all professions are noble except of course the maleficent ones like the vocation of OBL .. even politics is a noble one albeit someone become altruist than narcissist. the question is not which one is noble of all question is can we make ours noble of all can we serve to the zenith of our faculties. the question is can our future generations be oblivious to the evils that corrupt the quintessence of what envelops us. the question also is what legacy will we leave for them.
the moment we get the answer, we will be beatified ...

  2. very true,....
but I wanted to manifest my views in a rather blithe manner ,therefore I was talking of "traditionally NOBLE PROFESSIONS", although I agree that nobility lies in individual, which can make genuine, even a tainted vocation like "politics" (here, I am talking of 21st century politicians, which more or less lie in this category).....
well, I could not understand the meaning of OBL and may I know who's there????
    (I guess Rohit Sir,,)
    THANKS,ANYWAYS FOR YOUR NOBLE THOUGHTS...
