how self disciplined we are......???

“Self regulation is no regulation.” – the statement of Sri Markandeya  Katju, former supreme court justice and the chairman of press council of India , has enticed me to write something after a month long gap…................
Actually, he was talking of the regulation of TV channels, that if they do not want to come under the PCI they should choose another regulatory body like the Lokpal ; because these TV channels too should be answerable to somebody for any kind of professional misconduct . He further justified that for every other profession, councils are made to regulate e.g. Bar Council for lawyers, Medical Council for doctors, chartered accountants under their council, judges of Supreme court & High court can be impeached by parliament for misconduct; even the recently held and very well supported Anna Hazare movement also demanded that politicians, bureaucrats and judges should all be placed under the Jan Lokpal bill….. (Although, I have a strong averse for plagiarism, but here I have framed few sentences of him as it is….) then why should these press people be exempted from any kind of regulatory agency????......
Although, he is badly criticized for his recent sharp comments for Television media, but in my opinion our electronic media, (almost every channel) even the print one has crossed all the ethical limits; ironically at the name of entertainment, their beautiful protest behind that public pasand karti hai…..actually as per Justice Katju,we reside in a country that is passing its transition phase, almost 75% of our population lives in vigorous poverty, but why we try to escape the truth and  like to watch news channel for sheer ENTERTAINMENT,a proportion of 90% entertainment and 10% socio-economic content of news is quite unfair… I can better explain this w/my personal experience.
Recently I visited my dentist and patients were watching a particular TV channel in the lobby, then a  lady doctor came there and claimed that socio-economic survey  (running on the TV);explaining the exact figure of children in Mumbai slums , an absolutely bakwaas and instead switched to another news channel, which was showing some Diwali celebrations event  by so-called popular TV stars, I was absolutely amazed by this EXTRAAAA-SINCERE move, when the better 25% populace (or to be more refined, I can say within 10% of the most privileged citizens of this country) will behave and respond in this manner, then what can be expected from those remaining unfortunate gantry, who do not have access even to basic necessities e.g. proper food….
Although, justice Katju said in a particular context, but the same question can be raised to all those educated & elite people that do we possess the characteristic of self discipline????... I find an immense scarcity of the same, even in the daily life I find people extremely in-disciplined (actually they are very good professionals but all the truth is unveiled when they are out of their respective professions, I mean just as any other citizen), e.g. when we go at some market place  we use plastic bags and throw them irreverently, even after knowing that they are injurious to land like anything, or whenever riding a vehicle in the middle of the road, use horn like the person next to us is a deaf and use all the mean tricks to overtake the fellow driver…. nobody wants to think of the fellow  companion,WHY???
Why we always need heavy fines and authoritarian approach to remain in discipline, may be the answer lies in my opening statement “self regulation is no regulation…” That’s true!!
Recently, I read a beautiful saying ,”the success of an individual does not depend upon how successful the person is, instead it is determined by the number of people who became successful by him..!!!”  What I can urge from the so-called padha likha class is to behave responsibly and to show some credibility whenever society demands the same from them…………
Well this implies for me as well, after all I too, belong to the same genre….gudluck  (to me)

october 17

I turn 24, a memorable birthday with the wonderful blessings of people around- family, relatives and friends, one more moment to realize “how privileged I am…”
May be a few months back I had not so sanguine approach, but at this moment I feel this is definitely the most productive and value adding year in my chapter of life - so much to learn, so much to adopt, nothing to lose and the world to achieve…. I am truly spellbound by the charisma of almighty that he has entwined circumstances so well with each other, which are disentangled on their own at the suitable junctures….. So that I am left with no queries…!!!
I have at least a million reasons, for sure to thank god for all; first, I am blessed me with such a wonderful family –the blissful parents; their way of upbringing, specially the values (impregnated with the moral science)given to us, poses a great challenge upon me, as whether I can be so fruitful or idealistic for my posterity ?; the angelic siblings who will never let me involve in any kind of ill-will and will grab me from any disaster kind of situation…and the range of committed friends who are always there for any bad time...
In the nutshell I have a bag full of aspirations and blessings from the supreme power. (and he has bestowed this all, even after knowing the fact that I am often dubious about his decisions and wishes, like any inane fellow)
It feels satisfactory to realize-what mistakes I have done in past, times when I have hurt my loved ones and now, how can I learn from them so that they could not be repeated in the future…. I really wish to become a promising human being by the addition of this one more year.

Well, if I talk of celebrations, it was a nice composition of people for whom I am in their wish list…
So many calls and messages,
and in the end the SURPRISE b’day party……..  just completes the sequence.
Last but not least I beg god to shower his slightly EXTRA blessings upon me, so that I could silently tolerate the question- Why are you not on facebook…..????????? asked by the close fellows, such that I am left with no answer..
Well not much to say; neither  I have any personal grudges with Mark Zuckerburg and his splendid creation, nor there is any special motive to prove something; the thing is that I am happy with my periphery and just do not find the right time to widen my network and most importantly, I believe I must respect my own thoughts because till then I cannot expect the same from others…
Thanks for all…………

एक तू ही तू ही तू ही तू ही............

Hmmm…. finally watched awesome “mausam” , unfortunately one week late in writing this due to decrepit and abbadon condition of my laptop... well not much to say it is working now and I feel privilged to manifest what I feel---
In this story of timeless love, each and every sequence iterates us that humanity is the greatest ever religion and the simple saying “love everyone”- the lead characters are like any other human beings,  live their normal lives, respect their professions, face weirdest mental trauma in their respective lives,  but are beautifully committed towards each other… Situations around them play with their destinies and they are the winners every time and believe me, I found nothing dramatic in it,however a quite exceptional for sure….
Since past few days, I was thinking of people who are courageous or brazen – here, I won’t talk of malignant category i.e. boldness for wrong reasons, I am rather interested in audacious genre, which is simple to be  understood. When one is filled with godliness, actually carries immense mental strength and becomes hefty like anything, and unlike a nonchalant, cares for everybody around and bears no evils for any living being in his vicinity, at least.
I have found a beautiful correlation of the above characteristics w/the lead actor, although he is ambitious and blithe as an adolescent but extremely firm and focused as a matured air force officer; his get-up is striking, strict but pure… His philanthropy reminds me of a special friend, and the climax scene is truly iridescent when at the verge of survival of his own life, he sets free a horse who neighs for freedom, which shows that even an animal’s life is equally important for him…
The female lead is completely compatible to her counterpart, she too stands firm against all odds and does not leave any last hope to meet him, she is not typically shy but graceful enough, she shares a wonderful unspoken bonding w/her man and respects her decisions as well….
The beatitude of their relationship lies in their silence, although the lead character is besotted with his lady love’s charm at first sight, but never for a single moment describes epitome for her beauty, their love  attains its zenith as the time passes and is hardly influenced by any vigorous calamity…
Although this is not any story derived from somebody’s real life rather I am not intersted its origin, the basic idea is to deliver the message efficiently, even in the entire movie it is nowhere stated these ,”why these disasters took place? The director is keen to show the hidden essence, i.e. the mayhem has no face, no religion, no identity ; even a dialogue at the end too supports this statement, that “those who spread violence at the name of any particular religion or motive, are no more but kaale saaye..!!!”

To be very true, I am a little partial towards the movie review, as father-son duo Pankaj Kapur and Shahid Kapur strikingly appeal me,as I find both carry grace & glamour equally well and follow simplicity like anything….

Music too,is thoroughly inspired by sufi mysticism. Would definitely like to conclude by saying-

जब जब चाहा तूने ऱज के रुलाया
जब जब चाहा तूने खुल के हँसाया
जब जब चाहा तूने खुद में मिलाया

एक तू ही तू ही तू ही तू ही............

my favorite track from the movie,by Wadali brothers....

which is the noblest among them all....

What is the noblest profession among them all,…..????? the question hit to me,at the commencement of my dental treatment.

I reached the clinic on time and was told to wait in lobby.  Hitherto, I was swinging with trepidation, but as I was evoked in his cabin, Mr. dentist  was on his mission to make me comfortable with his tongue-in-cheek remarks.
He is an immaculate and martinet personality, which eventually confirms his rectitude, too.
First he asked , whether I had had my breakfast? . Then he started admiring the beauty of my wisdom tooth and framed few sentences,as if he were to write a commemoration for it . He compared it with the grace and glory of Ravana, although an eminent scholar ,was killed by lord Rama as dared to crossed  maryada, so  how savant and beautiful one could be does not matter, if crosses the limits, even god won’t come to save, the same was destined with my ex-wisdom tooth. He convinced me that -since,it dared to grow above the gentle nerves beneath teeth panoply, it had to sacrifice its life.
Well, he did his work well and I felt obliged to him,as I  could not realise the pain being intricated in his remarks … Infact, the completeness of his comport compelled me to start thinking, that actually,“which profession can be declared the winner….???”

The answer is quite obvious, our venerable POLITICIANS…. Hehehehehehehehehe
Ok,ok  no more baloney. (I can’t dare to lose my loyal readers, after all mere post aapke comments se hi to gulzar rehte h…)
Two more names come to my mind excluding doctors- teachers and army personnel…
Doctors are often termed as “ next to god”, because by their livelihood we hope to spend healthy lives ,I even remember one incident to ensure the aforementioned statement- “ once there was a discussion between a mechanic and a doctor, that although they both perform the same task i.e. to amend the machinery,( whether  living being  or non-living being ) then why the doc’s are  more respected, the doctor replies that a mechanic has to perform upon a dormant machinery, also non living being; whereas a doctor is expected to operate an active machinery of  living human being, hence more VENERABLE..
If I talk of teachers, they are sort of INELUCTABLE to any common man, they can be of various types and categories, but at some point, we are afraid of them, love them or respect them; rather few of them always remain in our memories, such that difficult to extricate, they are our role models and impact our thoughts as well as decisions like anything. Can we even think of giving so much attention and importance to any other professional??? I don’t think so…
Even doctors and teachers are trained by TEACHERS…
We happily spend our lives and manage everything with the true sense of freedom, because somebody else is taking care of the security and harmony of all those, living in the hub. Definitely, this feeling of obliging cannot be derived from any other profession; they sacrifice their lives to save ours. Although, this is their livelihood but the feeling of courage and determination certainly discriminates them with the rest of the society. Barring any special occasion but I feel grateful to them unconditionally and definitely have no question about their rectitude……
Now one may ask, did I reach upon any conclusion, the answer is no….actually I have evinced all this to ensure that let it remain a question only as all three professions are altogether NOBLEST….

Although Engineer's day is close (15 September), I really wish if they could ever be included in this category............. and so,how could I?
well, I would try to contribute by some other way..... may be, not as pious as above, but at least germane enough......

The Divine Democracy

I am feeling privileged today, a trually empyrean moment for me as an INDIAN, though this country  is too prone  to be fethched in news  for various  wrong  reasons, ( CORRUPTION , unfortunately  the root behind most of them) But certainly this is an amazing country to live with, in the era of cold war across the globe, I am blessed with the opportunity to fight against the aforementioned giant surprisingly through the Gandhian style, i.e. w/the evince of ahimsa, which could typically take place only in this country….
Everybody is celebrating today, after all our new age satyagrahi ANNA HAZARE has decided to quit his fast till death, as government has agreed most of the demands of the proposed JAN LOKPAL BILL…….
Probably, this is my way of celebration.( one interesting fact that Anna is going to quit fast on the 13th day of this movement, i.e. the celebration day; a message for triksiaidkaphobic west who normally regard the digit 13,as unfortunate, could there be anything so auspicious for our nation....????)
The best part of this movement lies in the people’s comport towards it. The gantry which included various classes, religions, professions ,geographical locations etc.- certainly had one thing in common between them, the indignation caused  by  corruption at every single field of their respective lives and the immense faith in the noble motives of Hazare, which will pull them out of this ever increasing evil, for sure.
The world is trually spellbound by this kind of Andolan, which happened so peacefully because an altruistic activist, their messiah has urged them to do so, such a pious notion - actually this justifies one quotation I was almost annoyed of,in my childhood as my friend used to include it in all her debates,by default (and used to compliment it with the cadence)

ऋषियों मुनियों की धरती है ये भारती
गाओ मंगल गीत उतारो आरती

Well said, actually..
This movement could connect itself with billions of people, only on the ground of reality - the considerable number of celebrities too were associated, along with some prominent names of civil society – Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan, Kiran Bedi, Shanti Bhushan; most of them ,earlier bureaucrats and Magsaysay award winners. Today the sincere actor  AAMIR KHAN too supported for Anna Hazare and requested him to relinquish the ANSHAN, I will appreciate his move, that atleast he took the initiative and has shown interest in the enforcement of Jan lokpal bill by his physical presence at the Ramlila Maidan.. ( this lucidly, justifies why I am die-hard fan of this actor, kudos…)
Now, one more entity for which it proved quite expedient ,” INDIAN CRICKET TEAM”, since this movement  grabbed all the attention of public along with Media, nobody bothered their historical loss against England, well Dhoni & his men must be thankful to Hazare and movement , which has escaped them from harangue of their fans and experts…
(I doubt whether these players were protesting against corruption by not winning any of their matches until the bill passes, hehehehehehe ) well……… forget it all,
the debate is initiated in the Parliament and we hope to receive the powerful and candid JAN LOKPAL BILL..................god bless

The need of the hour (part-2)

5th day of the fast at the Ramlila ground Delhi went well, Dr. Naresh  Trehan confirmed that his health is stable.  There is a wave across the nation, which is asking for changing the mindset and therefore espousing him even without knowing the nuances of Jan lokpal bill, for whose amendment he has planned to go on a hunger strike
74 years old social activist and the anti corruption crusader aka ANNA HAZARE is the cardinal topic for discussion ,today. After all he is doing  something at the cost of his life, which most of us not even attempt to think or rather, adopt it as any sincere empathy…
The corruption year is the namesake to year 2011, probably the saturation period for any common citizen to think that “where are we going and when will this holocaust (physical and moral, both) end????...”
On a serious note, we welcomed the year by the “great grandfather scam”  2G SPECTRUM SCAM , the estimated loss of around Rs. 1.75 lac crores…. Just a meager amount, then only the prominent Congress leader Mr.Kapil Sibal said in protest of his government that the CAG might have wrongly calculated the loss and this is probably any minor issue, which nobody should bother about, well I can understand the mental trauma of poor minister,he actually needs some protest to save his ruling government. Well, the culprit  A.Raja has been jettisoned from his prestigious ministry  , he is constantly targetting our honourable PM and HM, the blame game is on ,certainly with no avail ….
It was followed by  Androix- ISRO scam, although the loss more than that the aforementioned quantity but since the lesser known , is still seeking for some consideration..
Now, the most waited event which was about to reconsider the destiny of India as any sport mega event organizer the Common Wealth Games 2010, eventually she did well with respect to PLAYERS & THEIR PHENOMENAL SPIRIT  and filled its bag with splendid achievements, but CAG again filed some enormous amount against the ORGANIZING COMMITTEE, i.e.  Delhi government and Indian Olympic Council were the joint beneficiaries’  of the hundreds of crores of money, which as per CAG are the result of some wasteful expenditure by the OC… Here, again the authenticity of CAG was questioned, after all they have targeted the Delhi Chief minister ,the congress person…. The pity UPA government , May God bless ………………
Meanwhile, the states also have also made their presence felt- be it UP Chief minister MAYAWATI with her National Rural Health Mission super scam or be it Karnataka CM B.S. YEDDYURAPPA   with his alleged involvement in the illegal iron ore export scam in the districts of Karnataka, they constantly remind the central government to not to undermine them, as they believe in the saying- hum kisi se kam nahi
Here I am including only the monetary losses made by our prestigious central and state governments in the year 2011 ,you know just in the past 8-10 months we have imbibed this great money….
Definitely signifies the promising DIGESTION ….. No, I am serious this time…..
Well, not much to say this all genuinely states the essence of the movement made by Anna Hazare, certainly this is not any magical trick which will eradicate the corruption overnight, but I strongly believe that THIS IS A START, A REASONABLE START….which will definitely lead this country to a better tomorrow and will entice its countrymen to extricate themselves from the strong roots of CORRUPTION. Almost ,all of us dreamt of removing this devil from our society but due to insipid attitude of government  any such law could never be made , so somebody has to take the initiative…
Today, entire nation is in talking in his language and is die hardly supporting him,  the commom gantry of this country are not fed by any organization to take part in any such andolan, the support is very lucid in terms of understanding, WE WANT CHANGE …. I too,do not  believe in the absolute removal but it has to be MINIMISED, what the corrupt will do when they will realise no support or compromise from the other side………….????
At the same time I feel proud of being Indian, that atleast in this country one can manage to protest silently with his demands, trually  democratic nation….
Well, my and rather entire country’s heartiest wishes are with Anna and his noble movements,,,,,
(I genuinely wish I could understand the complexity of Jan lokpal bill, whenever I rewrite for this issue…)

kyuki har ek friend zaruri hota h....

1st Sunday of August , implies “ friendship’s day ”, or to be more precise the entire week is friendship week i.e. the celebration of friendship; If I talk of friends, I have been fortunate enough to have not myriad in number, but genuine and true to me…. Since today is dedicated to best buddies ,I would like to share few in my anmol khajana.. hehehehehehe
My family  is  an obvious opener,be it my parents or my siblings
My first bonding started with the date when I was to appear in this world and from someone  who took intense pain to produce me, I am blessed with world’s best mum; well not much to say I share every variety of bonding w/her-  physical, mental, moral, spiritual ,in the nutshell ETERNAL; she is infact the first person to elaborate the meaning of friendship, ( obviously, she means it first) everytime has a close eye upon my company and keeps on telling me how should I choose and maintain ma’frnz…..
My dad also shares a friendly bonding w/three of us and stays cool at even any of the vigorous moments. His speciality like this keeps him at the top in my little world....As a kid,I remember my mom used to scare all three of us at his name, but soon we have realised that he is friendly to us like anything and we spend time like true buddies. No regerts for childhood,we now know him as a better friend, off course...
THANKS FOR ALL....
When closely watch other relationships of siblings, I don’t know why but I somehow visualize the lack of commitment and binding bonds, which is the essential foundation feature in my relationship with both of my sisters (DIDI & ANKU). Not only as kids, even today we scold each other, have bull fights on regular intervals and use satirical  terminology to entice, still nobody minds and if somebody who cares????.. (actually, this is the way to express love n affection w/each other)
I have two phenomenal buddies with different  characteristics at my home, who anytime listen to me and shower their endless suggestions… and the person responsible behind all this is ,of course my parents and their timeless ways of bringing up the kids….
My jovial ANKUR JIJU makes my family complete as well as delighted, I have recently shared my views for him,but still would like to add that his arrival as a family member always reminds of the veracious vibrations all around....
If I count my out of home friends, ILA is probably the first name and the only person till date, like whom I wanted to be, again because of ma, as she was the great admirer of my chum. So, I assumed that I too will grab her intention, if I would be like her…
Since past 15 years of our friendship;-I adore her as a commensurate blend of human qualities,be it her determination, her pious spirits, her staunch decisions and at the same time a golden heart w/lots a care for everybody around her, she is trually charismatic personality…
RUCHI is for sure the only person, who made our friendship(me,Ruchi & Ila) more meaningful by her presence.  We were the most happening trio in class for around 4-5 years and fortunately together since the first day of school till date. Ruchi can be easily remembered for her timeless pranks, her altogether unique accent, colloquial still remarkable and her calligraphy sort of handwriting. Probably nobody in her near vicinity was left to be mimicked by her, teachers, batchmates, family, neighbours and the list goes on…. Be it, our participation in gk quiz/ science model competition or complaint of our Maths teacher for excessive homework, we left no single moment to show UNITY IS STRENGTH… hahahahahaha
Golden days of one’s life.....
My next asset is none another than aka shaitan bachha  NEHA, makes my school time comlete. I met Neha recently after a long span of 10 years, it actually feels great to meet somebody with whom I have shared and spent wonderful time. We were the true partners in all the notorious activities in the class, since she was the class leader and we were in the same house, we used to make full use of authorities provided to us. Be it the very first classroom award functions in class 8th or to compel the entire class 9th to have their signatures on paper to make sure our principal the authenticity of the matter, I true to my heart miss her company and would always like her in my surrounding…..
When I talk of my college days, I have not fully enjoyed them , but I still carry few wonderful jewels with me , AKANKSHA the true companion from the very first day of session, so that most people presumed that we were school friends , I believe she might have felt ennui at times whenever library or some trivial lecture room used to be my destination but hat’s off to her patience level  that she has never expressed her disavowal for me, so sweet of you dear!... I admire you for that…, Well the time in Delhi for the final year training and the last time when you came to Ludhiana for your  training ( NIFT summer internship)  we have again shared some beautiful moments together…
RUCHIKA and I share the perfect Manchester chemistry, which probably very few people can understand; hehehehehehe….bubbly, chirpy and veracious personality, who wisely manages her things, takes hard decisions, might feeling grievance at times but never loses that wonderful smile on her face,…. Probably she lets you to forget everything whenever you talk to her.. I predict we have spent splendid time at Sarla, Ghaziabad and got to know each other well, and since past 2 years when we even could not meet, I have closely realized my bonding w/my dear chum…yo man...!!!!!
When I think of something intellectual around me, one luminous name strikes to me immediately i.e. PRITI , honestly at the first stroke she had no good impression upon me but as the time passed I have started visualizing the depth and gravity of her conscience, which obviously keeps her away from the crowd. I feel proud when we have constructive talks on critical issues and we share aspiring ideas, sometimes emotional as well…. In the nutshell, I wish her luck for her future endevours …
The genuine addendum to above names are beautifully complimented by my Ludhiana arrival and the beautiful people I met here..
To start with the person , with whom I share the closest bonding and she keeps on explaining that togetherness of ours to every second person she meets, is none other than SUMITA MAM; expressive yet  silent, loquacious yet calm, caring yet aggressive; she eventually carries all these well and possesses a phenomenal place in my life, We never thought to be so closed to each other but it just happened… She cares for me as her younger sibling and listens to me, as if I am elder to her…  she might have lost physical assets in the recent years but gracefully manages to maintain all the eternal ones.. and one more quality of her is to embarrass anyone at any moment…. Wonderful you are….!!!
Now, the person with whom I officially started the term like counselling ,which eventually helped me too to think in a broader manner…. RENU MAM, Thanks for being so obedient and listening to whatever bullshit I talk. She is possessive and seeks attention at many times, probably this childish behavior of her makes me crazy for her. She is caring and shows it aggressively at times…again that gesture is patented by her… which nobody can dare to grab. The sweetest part of her lies in her suggestions, whenever she suggests she reminds of the time when she has listened to me ,and agreed to it full heartily.. My final words for you-Just be yourself, you are going to enlighten the world for sure, with your virtues…. I mean it.
Although I have not spent much time with RISHU, but she is a promising human being for sure…
Be it, her amusing accent, her adventurous yet disciplined life style, her magical eyes , her promising thoughts, all make her to be remembered as commensurately petite. I feel delighted even when I think of you, charismatic personality!!……. Always maintain this naïve attitude.
Now, the wonderful person with whom I enjoy die-hardly while flirting, still feel safe like anything, although seems to be wanderer at first stroke, yet  exudes the equanimity of human characteristics, more beautifully than one could even imagine. This is probably one of the reasons I admire LAKHVEER SIR, like anything. Although, he is a cool dude sort of, but still carries aggression strictly when it is needed, otherwise full control on temperament. He is pure, clear and can take stand for anybody who is right, adorable quality of him. I would always want your graceful company.
Now, the latest entry into this entity, probably the only person whom I took around one year to understand, cloying  at first stroke, he used to irritate me with his ever smiling face and quite contemptuous sounding “thank you” after every single sentence.. AMITESH and his audacity is completely splendid. Be it, the proclivity for spirituality or the courage to stand for truth, these qualities certainly place you ahead the crowd.  finally for you, just be yourself, because it pays to be yourself…
So,now you must have experienced the wonderful journey of almost 24 years with these many people, has actually made it even more special and meaningful. Please read my thoughts for you and share whether you agree with me or not….

The stupendous spirit

No Asian country in the history of Women football has ever won the major title and recently Japanese women football team cut the ribbon and grabbed the title of WORLD CHAMPIONS….!!!!
For the innumerable reasons, I adore this country and its never dying spirit…
Disciplined, balanced, hard working and most importantly DETERMINED… To crack every challenge..
I genuinely believe that, we must learn aforesaid qualities which are inherent to almost every Japanese. I do not find the reason behind my fascination towards this country, but as a kid it was a magical national to me…..
Probably, amongst the most disaster prone countries, Japan has always faced the trouble due to its geographical placement in the map. But, no calamity could ever distract the endless spirit of its citizens. Be, it the nuclear attack post second world war  or recent tsunami  disaster, Japan has faced the crisis with a very close eyes and witnessed the impacts lasting for decades. But, after every calamity the rest  of the world realizes the improved and stronger side of this nation. I wish if I could personally ask the people that how they bring-up their children, so that everybody turns to loyal, obedient and balanced citizens. I wonder, if they would have ever complained almighty for all these natural disasters they face, they are rather prepared for this and behave in a calm way…. Wow, this fascinates me..
I gone thru several articles and interactions post Tsunami held in March, regarding rigidity, faith and determination of thoughts of every Japanese, that they will face the tragedy boldly without losing patience and balance and will come out of this as soon as possible and their spirit again won with the recent Worldcup win.
I wanted to write about this country even before but could not make it, and finally could make it after reading an interesting fact regarding their victory over Amricans, that inspite of some 7 cm shorter in height than average muscular American, 1.62 m petite muskeeters of Japan have managed to win this tournament and provided a plenty of reasons of celebration to their countrymen….
Accolades to their VICTORY, rather DESERVING WINNERS………!!!!!

The final touch

Finally, the day came for my departure………
I wish if it could be more perfect and satisfactory for me, because I still regret my precious next session, which I need to invest to recreate myself (I heartily wish if I could save the same),
Well I really want to move on………and, I mean it!!!
If I need to evaluate my tenure, I would rate it 7.5 out of 10 (quite promising)
I still remember the day, when I was at Ludhiana for the first time, my desperation and anxiety was quite visible (obviously for some suitable opening) courtesy - GREAT RECESSION CRISIS, I wandered for 2 days and really had not so great expectations from the third day, but June 15th was about bring hopes and positivity in my life, in the early morning I departed for Jodha (Rishab spinning Mills); there I met Sehgal Sir who promised me for some good results. Rather, he told me about Nahar Tower and explained the entire address, I had no option or I should say no hope left….
Still, I reached there for the so called interview, Agrawal Sir responded well and I was blunt to him like anything, I made no false promises regarding this aspiring opening, still he shown positive signs…
I never realized that I am going to act like merchandiser, rather I have often heard this term before, never tried to discover the significance and meaning, well HUME KYA PATA THA KI YE HI MERA BHVISHYA …….
Anyhow I have joined on June 19th, a viably new experience NA KABHI DEKHA,NA SOCHA.. Now, I remember the dialogue from Munnabhai MBBS, “bahut saare kaam insan ko pehli baar karne padte h life me”… So I convinced myself…. All iz well!!
Entirely different variety of people I met, I worked with, I interacted and most importantly some special ones whose memories I am carrying with me, the true assets for my lifetime. Believe me, I started my thinking w/an extremely negative approach, but I find the city and its different mix of people promising like anything….
Obviously, these years have widened my extent of human judgment and level of understanding w/anybody are so high, that nobody can make any sort of misuse of me in any case, my very first colleague was so great in terms of her behviour, so that I can never dare to forget her I remember only one saying “MUH ME RAM BAGAL ME CHHURI..”  Well, this I can say for sure that I cannot get anymore worse company like her…. Alrite, just leave the bad vibes here, I have so many points to cherish and I am going to do the same…..
My list of beloved’s is almost endless…
Well, I really wish to continue the Ludhiana saga w/wonderful and complete ending…
GOD BLESS …!!!
(written on july 4th,2011)

change is genuine, WELCOME it....

A comeback for writing after a long while, actually that was all due to immense lack of time ,I have attended three major functions of my family after my last post for my blog (i.. April 3)… Two from my family and one from my cousin’s.. Totally exhausted and lost, are the exact  feelings as a feedback …
Well ,it does not mean that there was nothing positive  meanwhile, actually loads of entertainment and enjoyment  also exist, the great events as a whole….my good wishes for both my sisters (whose functions were respectively attended by me)
What are the changes that take place, the major ones I decide are the arrivals of fresh  faces, for me it was a viably new experience.  I know my brother-in-law since past 4-5 years, he was not unknown me, but I had many questions regarding our post marriage relationship and the recent  Dehradun trip was a great  testimony… I along with Anku (my younger sister) enjoyed the event die hardly and found in him truly loving & caring friend, who treats us as his siblings. We feel safe and secured in his company and enjoy like anything… We had been with him for entire one day and really loved the trip.. I feel great for didi as well as for his selection, honestly my family was not in favour of this proposal, but today we all are proud of this decision and feel happy for this.. In the recent ceremony he was the fresh arrival for my family and we all felt great about his attitude, as he did not demand any special importance as a damad (u know all the social tantrums)… Athough, he is now mummy-papa-dadi ki aankhon ka tara aur apni saliyo ka jija pyara, still the special message for him We all love you like anything for what you are, so be yourself forever..

the plastic world

Apart from joining few polymers of ethylene together in any chemistry lab, there are many ways to find the polyethylene ( or more popularly polythene),,,,, Yes, you really don’t need to panic much
Be it any site near railway station, market place or your garbage box, plastic is ubiquitous….
Isn’t it…!!!
As per scientific norms,  normal  plastic bag takes 1 million years to biodegrade … Yes, you know when  you throw  any banana leaf along the roadside ; it will take only 10-15 days to assimilate within the soil, you might be violating the civic and general cleanliness sense ... but not any major issue from environment viewpoint  (Oh please…. Here I am no more promoting anybody to dispose more & more ecofriendly garbage along the roadside, this is just an example to compare the intensity of the topic)
Kindly be careful from the next time and start thinking about the generations, of those who are reading this, who are not reading ,those who are breathing, eating , talking, sleeping, even those who are dead, in short the entire mankind.  Does it make sense??..
I think so…
Whenever we dispose any unused plastic & it comes into the contact w/land, the plastic starts polluting the land and ultimately deteriorates the fertility of the land.
Pacific garbage patch is the exact example to explain the depth of the issue, this is like a patch in between the centre of pacific  ocean, which ranges in kilometers and is the result of daily dose of dump poured in the heavy  quantities into the ocean (consisiting basically 85% of plastics) , I have read it somewhere that if it is to be cleaned ,it will take decades … Oh God!!! The figures are really rude and not  at all ready to come down, now the question arises what can we do? Does mother environment  need our  contribution?
Of course, that’s true………..
We can save this world by atleast million ways, few of them are-
1)      Save electricity, save water, save trees,  value money, value goods, do not waste food, … in the nutshell, the general  awareness points to be followed.
2)      One very important  issue is the re-use of materials specially plastic materials & bags , always carry the bag w/you wherever you go, atleast you should use the plastic bags as many times as possible, they are actually manufactured to be used all thru your lifetime since not possible; try to use for the maximum time you can… (I do the same , I always carry the polybag w/me, so that I could use the same as many times and generally avoid taking carrybags from outside ,speacially the sabziwallas and rather entice them to charge extra bucks if they provide  plastic bags…coz this lies in my range,I really wish someday we could achieve a plastic free world….
3)      The campaigns like “earth hour” and “greenathon” respectively organized by government of Delhi and  the NDTV are contributing their bit in a sincere manner ,more and more people should be imbibed for the sake of environment …

I think plastic is negative in its indirect meaning as well, that implies this world is full of plastic people and activities and we generally avoid those people but we cannot ignore their significance because even this can become essence, at times....well without being distracted from the point,  I strongly believe that we have to provoke ourselves, to benefit our future generations and instead of completely avoiding, one must minimise the plastic usage …..

अतिथि देवो भव

Hello !!!!...
How are??  Khana kha k Jana huh..

The signature statement of Hansa Parekh (from KHICHDI); although a dumb & super funny character, who has no desire to perform even her routine work…, but this concept of atithi devo bhav  seems to be quite clear to her.
Which literally means-?
Guest is a form of god, so one should please them with their full consent and should take care of them..
Our Hindu mythology is full of examples and stories; e.g.
1)      The great Hindu king Shivi and pigeon; where Shivi donates part of his flesh to a vulture to protect the vulture, his guest…
2)      Shabri has offered the lord Rama those plums, which were already tasted by her , because she was so overwhelmed that the lord has given her a chance, in the form “atithi” to show her feelings..
But the scenario is totally changed down the years, now the quotation is changed to “atithi tum kab jaoge?” ( as we have seen in the recent flick of Ashwin Dheer; which narrates the story of a working urban couple of Mumbai, who are annoyed by an unwanted guest and how, they tackle and finally, emotionally attached..)
Development is on a super fast pace and things have really changed drastically. One can even observe the changes down the past 5 years, which were not even imagined 50 years back.. Isn’t it???..

I believe these advancements will naturally affect the human emotions or I should say they are transformed, how is it possible to carry the same sentiments and priorities in the different phases of time. I think this world survives upon the virtue and goodness of this mankind and will continue like this.. Situations might be different, but the driving force will remain the same. This society will continue its survival upon the better half of this society ,the so called goodness is retained by whom…. (my mom is a great example of the above characterization)
Well, without being distracting from the topic , my appeal from elders ,is to stop blind criticization of the youth  the 21st century flag holders.. and from the youth is to act in a balanced way in any situation..

Because  atithi is still dev but realization may take some time  (quite contrary to the pace of development)…..

Sorrow-the inevitable emotion

दुःख में सिमरन सब करे , सुख में करे ना कोय
जो सुख  में सिमरन करे तो दुःख कभी ना होय

It means human being should pray in all the circumstances; be it happiness, be it sorrow…..
Because this remembrance provides you the adequate strength to stay neutral; it does not claim that difficult situations do not happen w/those who have this great faith in almighty, but it actually states that constant “simran“ nullifies one’s trauma and the victim faces the challenge w/strong back-up….
In nutshell, my area of concern is the existence of grief; which is unavoidable….
One may ask, what is the reason behind this writing? Quite expecting will be that I, too am feeling sad since past few days… do not know. Why?  May be, coz didi has left or some mess-up at my work place, god knows..!!!!
But one important consideration is that life is made of many emotions, which are altogether different from each other.  You cannot sustain, even if single one is missing…
e.g. imagine a utopia situation, My life is full of happiness, have no struggle at all, I meet only good people, exclusively good things happen to me, no differences/ struggle/ failure…..
personally I would never even dream to spend my life in this manner, does there actually exist any reason to show my potential/ approach/ wisdom for my understanding of this journey called LIFE……
Hey, I don’t find any!!!...............
On other hand, try to visualize the world without sorrow..
·         There would be no more fake astrologers, who make money by claiming that the remedy they are going to suggest, will cure all the reasons behind the victim’s sorrow.
·         What will happen to those sadist singers (or, performers) who earn acclamation by boasting their sense of sorrow.
·         On a serious note, how and why would one desperately wait  for good time, i.e. HAPPINESS.
Although, I consider myself in almost “balanced category”; I can recognize human behavior upto 85-90% accuracy and as per my underatsnding life is imbibed w/sorrow, bad people/ situation; so I cannot change the entire scenario except procurement of myself, my message in the end-
Try to maintain the difference b/w good & bad things,as well as people and learn from other's mistakes...
Because time never remains the same (so much like fashion, keeps on rotating...!!!!) isn;t it!!!

I wish, above few things might be helpful for my readers to fight sorrow and to achieve victory over them,,,(believe me there was never an intention to promote anything like this.......................Swear)

The essence & importance of IWD

First of all, I apologize for being late...( since my broadband connection was not working since past 12 days...I could publish this post after two days)
A HAPPENING & MEANINGFUL 365 DAYS WOMEN'S DAY TO EVERYBODY....

A fairly close day to my heart, in fact to my entire family ….first because of the arrival of my little sweetheart sister (probably, secondly due to its world famous reason) .
She is the great epitome of womanhood; at times revolutionary, at times subtle…. Too mature irrespective of just being a teenager..
I still recall the moment for which I feel proud of her and ashamed of me…. Around 4 years ago When the brand new Hero Honda pleasure was gifted to both of us by our parents and I was constantly denying to ride. My super interesting protest behind was that I really don’t need it( the bike)and am happy with the regular rickshaw-auto shunting. But, she attacked my psychology smartly and insisted me to use it not for my need or luxury, but to avail the responsibility of an important & valuable asset, ,,,,,  Wow, what a lesson behind… SUPERB !!!!
Still I took one year to realize this…

Well, along with my darling sibling, I would like to share this, too–
the most charming profile and the base for every one- Meri  Momma…!! (quite unlike Rosesh’s - Maya Sarabhai)
My inspiration,
my values,
the ever renewable source of my energy/ thoughts ,
the reason behind every thing I achieve,
the back-up behind whatever I loose …

Believe me, this blog is just a micro platform for me to describe what she actually is, and what I really think of her....  my small world, in nutshell !!!!

the third exemplary character – my Hitler/ Mussolini sister… a  a a  my elder sibling… my one & only “DIDI”…. (unlike dexter’s deedee)
disclipined, strict (that’s why the wonderful titles,I have given to her) intelligent, responsible, or else I should say EXTREMELY RESPONSIBLE…. Caring, loving, pretty daughter of my parents..
Although, since childhood we have shared great compatibilty with each other, but if I talk of the recent time  in the past 6-7 months, we spent great time after a long while....
I was used to of her presence, so I miss her badly now-a days. These days were really adorable, she used to manage every work on her own and used to shout upon us (me & jyoti di), on the other hand we were really pathetic in this duration…  quite habitual of this solid daily dose..
Along with so many talents, she is an extra-ordinary cook,…. mmmm leave the topic..!!!!

Last but not the least, my grandmother "dadi d great".... world's most active, intelligent and smart granni and really a true inspiration for my entire family by showing the right path & teaching the valuable lessons of life..

To conclude my FAMILY SAGA, I actually need the patriarch of family , my dad of course..
Who successfully handles these many women at home.... ha ha ha
On a serious note, he is definitely among that elite gantry who respect womanhood and meaning of this special day..

Now, on a neutral aspect if I talk about ,with what values I have been grown up …
I would rather say..

 यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवता .

which means that the place where women are respected and cared, god resides there..

The implementation of this statement depends upon the entire society, man as well as woman too,,
although we have changed a lot since past centuries, a much longer demand list is expected from everybody I believe specially from fairer sex,, . women of 21st century...
Be smart, be bold, be decisive, be traditional, be real and most important BE YOURSELF..............

the systematic numbers

Numbers, definitely among the very basic constituents of mankind,  surviving may be  since the emergence of creatures on this planet.. constitute a crucial importance..
Don’t you think?
Few from your routine conservations-
1.       Fed up of regular comments by family & friends..!! Really, want to shed-off ?? Heard about our new offer, 2 more kilos could be reduced w/special  Rs.10000/-  package…. HURRY Limited time period offer….
2.       Management grads received lucrative offers in seven figures..
3.       Master  blaster Sachin Tendulkar created another milestone by making  century of centuries
4.       Mukesh Dheerubhai Ambani is among the top 5 richest businessmen across the globe..
5.       Successful people have the same 24 hours as others, to accomplish whatever they decide (the statement delivered in the patent speeches )
6.       Madhuri recreated her charm by performance on her own item no. ek do teen
7.       In Punjab , multi millionaires spend millions of their wealth in achieving the VIP No’s ;         e.g.PB-X 001
8.       If her birth time would be 30 seconds ago, she could be escaped from the ill effects of her stars

The story is endless……………………………………………………………………………
And may be because of these reasons only, CAT (Common Aptitude Test) imparts around 30 % weightage to number system in quantitative ability section.

As per the some recent numbers were first used 35,000 years ago; well, again not my concern… I am sure regarding the invention & confirmation of the very important member of the number system by great Mathematician Aryabhatta; that is ZERO… (because Manoj Kumar too has verified through the famous line “ jab zero diya mere bharat ne, duniya ko ginti aayi)
Among the various number systems DECIMAL  SYSTEM is most widely used and most convenient as well, which contains numbers from 0-9 (whole numbers)
One interesting fact, numbers symbolize human behavior also… isn’t it??..

Real & complex
Positive & negative
Rational & irrational  (Please, keep me in the first options of all the three categories….)

Our desire list is endless, almost upto infinity and satisfactory level is zero.

I hope you are not perplexed in this number game and could achieve victory over it
In the end, thanks to Vishal Sir for making my NUMBER SYSTEM concepts so clear,to think out of the box…

Harmless diplomacy

At first stroke, diplomacy symbolizes the seriousness,,,,,

The seriousness related to politics regarding some foreign affairs or may be India‘s permanent membership at UN…

Oh, please……. These are certainly not of my concern!!!

I am interested in my context of diplomacy, which I believe should be HARMLESS.  Yes, I am raising the topic of SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR, i.e. how should I respond to society & its people.

I really tend to be diplomat at times, this really works … and it should not exhibit anymore negativity, because here I am not demanding anything wrong from/for anybody. This is quite a very simple issue, if somebody is saying something to you JUST NOD YOUR HEAD IN ACCEPTANCE...  It is moreover like  :- Jo tumko ho pasand, wahi bat karenge tum din ko agar raat kaho raat kahenge

Be it personal or professional relations, one should try to maintain the equilibrium , if your boss is giving some free suggestions or your mother-in-law is imposing her all time principles upon you, just hold your nerves and relax yourself ( I am not suggesting you to stay besides the wall, make faces and then plan conspiracy regarding the concerned persons….:-)

In our daily life we meet different personalities, some of whom we adore, some we hate and certainly there are few neutral ones, too. I mean to say they all are not as, we want them to be.. they are like themselves.. Except those who are adorable to me and the true dear ones,  I would prefer to be diplomat in any other case… I listen to everyone but my decisions are hardly influenced by any sort of suggestions from someone in my second and third category, i.e. I make my things on my own behalf… Even I tend to retain w/me, if something wrong or ill has been said to me regarding the third person instead of any instructions by my side, I never circulate anything like this. Certainly I cannot stop the concerned person but what I can contribute is to finish the matter at my end.. There is no point in exaggeration of anything like this….

Well… there are many a people in my daily-list, with whom I become artificially good ,and this might be building some negative outline for my character , but I do not find any harm because I cannot be good to everyone I meet but if my approach is neutral and impartial , I may not be benefitting but at least I am harmless  ;this is the point which I wish to raise..

Be harmless diplomatic, because this is what this society demands from you... I do not know what you will think of me after reading this but I truly believe in the saying-

कबीरा खड़ा बाजार में सबकी माँगे खैर

ना काहू से दोस्ती ना काहू से बैर ....

Austerity

FACT 1 According to “  Suresh Tendulakar  “  committee, 37% of Indian population is below poverty line (although the definition of poverty is still uncertain..??)
FACT 2 India; super power by 2020,
Among the fastest emerging economies,
The young developing nations & on………………………

Incidentally, both of these facts co-exist
the situation of poverty can make you even more distressed at one portion of the globe, and the wealth may reach pioneer  in another part of the world as well.
Quite perplexed situation; why this IMBALANCE??????
Ever asked yourself…. Yes, I have a suggestion
 “austerity” !!
Some people have recreated this evergreen yet innovative concept…………. I agree totally; what’s wrong with this diversion of wealth from MORE to LESS, the perfect equilibrium … after all !!!

Yesterday, I was thru my routine newspaper check, I was excited at the beautiful concept of “promoting philanthropy in India” by Warren Buffett & Bill Gates.
Legendary investor Buffett along with Bill Gates and Melinda Gates are leading the “GIVING PLEDGE” campaign that urges rich people to pledge at least half of their wealth to charity.
Wow! I wish more and more billionaire come ahead for this great cause….
I remember few months ago, cabinet ministers “ S M Krishna” and “Shashi Tharoor” were criticized for manifestation of extremely luxurious lifestyle and misuse of authority, even these big names were rather suggested to switch to SIMPLICITY…

And,,, last but not the least; may god bless us all with his grace, so that we could contribute our bit to mankind…..
THAT’S IT.

The Social networking

Year 2004 …………………
A young Harvard student along with some of his friends; decided of showing his entrepreneurial skills through an innovative, or…  I should say brand new concept  His initiative is now the most sought word starting from “f” and ending with “k”; yes, I am talking of face book……  (the word you thought is the second most popular word w/the same category….
And the man behind the creation is “Mark Zuckerburg” ,TIME  person of the year 2010….
And why not ?????....
After all ,he has revolutionized the entire online networking among society and its people by his successful venture…
Life is much like face book na ..!!
We keep on updating status, like/comment other’s updates, upload past memories….
Are so much comfortable w/this..
Be it class 10th student, a young executive at any management firm or be some 50+ professor,   or any elite institution’s alumni; anybody can be caught involving in these activities… It’s good to find your old friends along with some wonderful memories, it’s nice t o see people recreating their worlds…
Everybody is so busy in managing this online portal stuff.
At times , I ask myself,  do I really need to have my profile on fb, I don’t think so……. (Because I already met my class 10th friends thru orkut……hahaha)………. I am not certainly demeaning it..But I actually don’ require to create a suitable profile on the networking website…..
I just mean to say that one should try to expand his or her vision besides the face book..
Yes, this might be taken as an efficient book thru which your face can be read..but that may not be true all the time.. So, my suggestion is not to be an addict, rather a verdict which is so genuine…  One last note for this… Why to spend so much time & efficiency upon an issue, when society demands so much from you, the youth….
So, please from the next time you login, kindly check this website also ”www.eci.gov.in”  ; even these things too demand our attention……..
I think so,,,,,,,,,,,,,

taste of failure

Hey,all !!!
I m d recent victim of this.. I still imagine,if it would not have happened,,,,,,,,
I wish I could succeed
I wish I could preserve one precious year of my life for my aspirations….
I wish I could see my family and parents cheering for me, my success….
I wish I could leave Ludhiana w/winning smile and a treasure of knowledge & experiences, some good ones… You know!!...
Irony of this world is that,it talks in terms of success and failure….
No matter who you are,if you are not performing as per the standards & norms of this society, you are UNSUCCESSFUL….
And specially, if you are trying to think something out of this box, you must be ready to face the criticism of your near ones, first ……. To be very true!!!!
Everybody closely associated w/me is shocked and have no words to console me, rather….
One more year,I need to show this world, look at me,…. ”this is how I am”….
One precious year……………………………………………………………………………………….

Well, enough is enough ,,,,,,
bahut ho gaya ye NIRISHAVAAD, aisa bhi kaun sa namak ka jahaj doob gaya h!!!

Jokes apart, I have nothing to loose and the world to achieve…….. YES,I MEAN IT !!!
What happened, if I could not taste the success this year, this failure actually entices me to get ready for an aspiring tomorrow,I belief the almighty wants me to prepare myself in a better way for this world..
I think, he lended some extra time to find maximum of myself, my ultimate goal…
I think I am going to explore me in this coming session,I will do whatever I love to do; dancing, gardening, some sort of field work &after  all writing my own blog,,,,, but please no one should  tell it to my mum, otherwise she will kick me out of her dynasty
and obviously my management saga will continue,I wish this time w/a happy ending….
I M SURE,I WILL MAKE IT …………….U KNOW!!!.....

the need of the hour

When era of 21st century knocked th door........
Around 11 years back, when I was a teenager I heard & read a lot about destruction of this universe,or to be more precise "earth"-
so much evidence/proof was there w/media,news-channels or newsapers...

year 2000,was termed as VINAASHKAL,we heard very few days left for life....

Year passed successfully..:-)

Nothing happenned!!!!

Some people might have corelated the kachh earthquake in gujrat by this, but actually

Nothing happenned.......

But,now in the year 2011,when I rethink on this issue
I agree w/whatever said in that year ..

May be not w/physical devastation but...w/moral values for sure..
Yes,when I talk of the characteristics of today's people, I find an immense decline in moral strengths..

Thousands of years ago some neeti shlok was written regarding character

वृत्तं यत्नेन संरक्षेत वित्तामायती याति च
अक्षीतो  वृत्ततः क्षीदो वृत्तास्तु हतो हतः

which means that from the day one of your charcter building you should preserve it w/complete and sincere effort, because wealth may or may not be w/you and this thing is not going to hamper you as it ebbs and flows by its nature. If money is lost or destroyed, nothing is lost... but if the character is lost ,take it as as major loss..

So,in nutshell my message to the youth of this 21st century society to be more sincere, strong and should preserve your values in a constructive and authentic manner....

THE NEED OF THIS HOUR, ...
as per my belief..
